of my hometown sports heros passed away this week. I was a life-long KENS-TV news fan and looked forward to Dan’s sportscast each weeknight. He was bright, witty, honest and totally original. A broadcaster from the golden era that sucessfully made the transition to the modern without selling himself short, or selling himself out.
He will be missed!
